Bio:
Even though April Muller is from Iowa, she is a Texas girl at heart. Moving to the “big city” to pursue a career in ballroom dance has been quite the adventure. Her love of dance has helped her to become successful as a teacher. She takes great pride in the students’ accomplishments, showing them that they can do anything they put their mind to. She also competes nationally with her dance partner and husband, Chris, in the American Smooth division.
Why She Loves Dancing:
Feeling beautiful dancing a waltz, sexy when dancing a salsa, you can become whoever you want when you dance. You hear music in a whole new way if you are dancing!
Advice:
Use it or lose it! Be sure to practice your dancing so that you can make the most out of any opportunity that comes along. There are so many moments in life that we miss out on because we are afraid of looking foolish, or are too nervous to just get out there. Being prepared allows you to relax and enjoy the moment!

Lindsay Perrone comes from beautiful western Montana. Although she did significant dancing and schooling throughout Utah, she completed and integrated bachelor’s degree in dance and business from BYU-Idaho. Besides ballroom, she has also spent ten plus years dancing Polynesian style dance, predominantly hula. When she’s not dancing she enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and back packing in the high country.
Advice: Don’t let your quest for perfection over shadow the reasons why you dance to begin with. Keep the fire for why you dance burn bright all the time.
What I love about dancing: I love feeling beautiful, being expressive and artistic with my body, and being mentally and physically challenged. I love articulating and portraying things that are felt and unable to express in any other way.

About me:
I started dancing when I was 14 because I thought it would be a good way to meet girls. Eventually, that worked out well for me, because nine years later I married my wife, who I met through dance. I had quickly found a lot of other reasons to continue dancing, though. My real passion in dance is to make people smile, whether it is my dance partner or the audience.
What I love most about dance:
I love performing and competing. I love the elegant clothing. I love the motion, the challenge of it.
Advice:
You can never have too much practice.

About Bradley:
Bradley is happy to return to Texas, his home state, after spending most of his adult life in New York City and Europe where he performed in numerous musical theater productions. Before graduating from a performing arts conservatory in Manhattan, he was already working in an off-Broadway show. Besides dancing, Bradley’s other interests include singing and visual art.
What I love about dancing:
My love of music and dancing go hand in hand. I love dancing because it gives me the opportunity to express myself physically to music that would otherwise only be heard, not felt.
Advice:
My advice to any dancer, beginner or experienced, is to keep at it. No matter if it’s learning that new step or nailing that heel lead, if you don’t get it the first time, try again. You’ll look back and be glad you did!

About me:
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I grew up much like most children. I played sports my entire life: Baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling, but it was at college that I found out my love of dance. From that moment on I have competed and enjoyed dancing.
What I love about dance:
Seeing and feeling the perfect harmony, teamwork, and precision between two people moving to the beauty of music.
Advice:
Practice! Everyone undervalues practice.

Our last party was an event to remember as we met together with dance friends past and present. It is wonderful to see how many of you have been with us on this journey, and we enjoyed getting together again to dance with some of you who showed up for the occasion! We had some great showcase pieces performed, and, as always, the dancing was marvelous.
